The avant garde design of this model made in 1941 offers a foretaste of the post-war styles in horology. The “attaches façonnées” or T-shaped lugs were to inspire several models by Patek Philippe including Ref. 1534 which were typical of the mid 1940s. These continued to be popular throughout the 50s and 60s as they were adopted and reinterpreted by firms such as Cartier.
