Rolex Cosmograph Daytona

Reference – 6264 was originally introduced in 1969. Type: Men’s watch Made in Stainless Steel Approximately 1,700. Made in 18k Gold considered rare, about 10 known and 14k gold being the rarest. Most if not all 14k gold versions are believed to have all been shipped for the U.S. Market, mainly due to the importing restrictions.  

Powered with the new 727 caliber with black acrylic bezel and featuring a slight change to the lug design and new graphics for the dial. Contains the non-screw down chronograph round pushdown buttons.

Stainless Steel, 18k Yellow Gold rare, 14k Yellow Gold rarest. Most gold versions have the Leman Paul Newman Dials

1. 18k Gold about less than 300 known in all dial variations combined

2. 18k Yellow Gold Exotic Lemon (Limoncello) Dial Paul Newman with champagne or black dial

3.18k Gold Paul Newman JPS John Player Special Dial. 5 known. The JPS moniker originates from the tobbaco company name, John Player Special. This moniker was also given to the watch because of the similarity in colors to the Lotus 77 Formula One Race Car from the 1970's.
