Rolex reference 4768 is one of the earliest from the brand that included a triple calendar and a chronograph. It is a predecessor to the famous references 6036 and 6236 both of which had Oyster cases as opposed to the snap on case back of the 4768. Reference 4768 was produced in far fewer numbers than its successors and examples rarely appear at auction.
