Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar
The first known Patek Philippe perpetual calendar wrist watch was first made in 1925. The perpetual calendar came in to regular production in 1941 with the reference 1526. Since that time, the essential gentleman's grand complication has worn many different guises. Replacement of the very popular Patek Philippe ref 5040, the now very rare and discontinued Patek Philippe ref 5940G-001. Made in an all 18ct white gold tonneau shaped case and held on a genuine black alligator strap with matching 18ct white gold buckle. Fitted with the highly complicated and decorated Ultra thin Manufacture calibre 240 Q mechanical self-winding movement. Features include perpetual calendar, day, date, month, leap year and moonphase. White dial with applied gold Breguet numerals. Finished with a sapphire crystal glass and case back. Part of a private collection. Item is in unworn condition. Box and full documentation included.
