The present watch is only the fi fth example of the reference 592 in steel to appear at auction. The Extract from the Archives confi rms the production of this watch with silvered dial and raised steel Breguet fi gures the dial was renovated by Patek Philippe in 2002. The reference 592 was launched in 1938 and continued in production until the end of the 1940s. This watch is illustrated on page 52 in the book "Patek Philippe Kult-Objekt & Wert-Anlage" by J.
