Patek Philippe

The Patek Philippe reference 3580 remained in production between 1972 and 1980. The 1970s proved to be highly creative and saw the emergence of fancy-designed steel watches. As a reminder, in 1972, the Royal Oak came to life, the same year this special Patek Philippe was launched. The steel tonneau case creates a unique look, rarely associated with the ever-so-classic Patek design cues. Mechanically-wise, the watch was powered by the calibre 350 for the first series, then cal. 1350 for the second series. The main feature of this timepiece is that it is the only stainless steel back-wound wristwatch Patek has ever produced, hence the absence of a crown to the case band. The bracelet completes the bracelet watch ensemble to create the casual chic look the riches were after during the 1970s.
