It has a stainless steel bracelet with a foldover Omega buckle, and a hesalite crystal. It has a screw down winding crown, round chronograph push buttons, and a solid screw down case back engraved with the Speedmaster Hippocampus in the center medallion, and a serial number. The 37mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, and flat fixed black bezel with a white tachymeter scale to 500 UPH, are polished/brushed. The dial is diver's yellow with applied white-rimmed luminous baton index hour markers around a black, double row minute/1-25th second chronograph scale. It includes pointed black baton hands with luminous inserts, a red center sweep chronograph second hand, and there are three recessed yellow subsidiary dials with black markers, Arabic numerals, and red/black indicator hands, including a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and there is a running small seconds register at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding. The 12.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Omega Speedmaster Michael Schumacher 3810.12.40 has a mechanical automatic caliber 1141 (base ETA 2892-A2) movement with a chronograph caliber 2020 module by Dubois-Depraz. It's rhodium plated with fausses coates embellishment, and it's constructed with 27 jewels, a shock absorber device, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring, a micrometer regulator, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Omega Speedmaster Michael Schumacher 3810.12.40 was introduced in 1996, and it was produced until 2000.
