The Omega Speedmaster launched in 1957 was not only prolifically known
to be the exceptional timepiece that took mankind to the Moon, it was
pioneered as a chronograph during the golden age of motorsports. Part of
the Speedmaster racing family, the present reference
326.32.40.50.06.001 released in 2012 with 3 variants: black, red and
finally grey like the present example. This Speedmaster racer strikes
with a dynamic yellow accent against the brushed finished grey dial.
Decorated with three Clous de Paris patterned sub-dials adds additional
dimension to the overall aesthetics. The tachymetric bezel surrounds the
Speedmaster racing is made in aluminium with a matt black sheen
boasting with masculinity. Powering the engine is the Co-Axial calibre
3330 fuelled with 52 hours of power reserve. For those who reckon time
