It has an integral Omega stainless steel link bracelet (1447/805), and a hesalite crystal. It has a protected screw down winding crown, round chronograph push buttons, and a screw down solid case back with a center medallion engraved "SPEEDMASTER," and the seahorse speedmaster emblem. There is a dust-protecting cap, and there are two correctors in the left side case band at 10 and 11 o'clock for the date and moon phase. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, lyre lugs, and flat black bezel with tachymeter to 500 UPH, are polished/brushed. The original dial is black with luminous baton hour markers around a white perimeter minute/one-fifth second track, the original luminous white baton hands, and a white luminous center sweep hand with an arrow tip. There are four recessed "pie plate" subsidiary dials, including a moon phase with a radial pointer date scale at 12 o'clock, a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute totalizer at the 3 o'clock position. It has a 45-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Omega Speedmaster Professional "Speedy Moon" 345.0809 has a mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 866 (base Omega 1861) movement. It's constructed with 17 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a micrometer regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The Omega Speedmaster Professional "Speedymoon" 345.0809 was introduced in 1985 in an edition of 1300 examples, and it was produced until 1988.
