Dial case and movement signed. DIAM. 44.5 mm. THICKNESS 10 mm. This is one of the rare examples of a watch sold by OMEGA to the German market between the two wars. Omegas policy during the war years was not to supply Germany with watches as they were suppliers of the Allied forces. The large ball crown of this watch is placed on an extended stem to facilitate winding by aviators who wore heavy gloves. For a similar example see Omega Watches by John Goldberger p. 20.
