Omega
Omega has been a leading luxury watch brand since the company’s founding
in 1848. The company has stood out over the years for the rare
configurations seen in many of their timepieces.
The present
watch from 1947 houses a 33.3 manual-winding movement with two
registers. Encased in stainless steel, this watch is fitted with a
stunning multi-colored dial with an eye-catching salmon-colored ring
displaying art deco hour markers. Featured on the outer rim of the dial
is a tachometer scale printed in white. Additionally, there are 2 white
inner rings that intercept with the chronograph registers to measure
pulsations, as well as a more discrete telemeter scale in light brown.
The
three-piece case is in excellent overall condition and features a
snap-back case, olive shaped pushers, and the original winding crown.
This outstanding example is an elegant, yet sporty wristwatch
complemented by a beautiful and rare dial configuration, and is further
enhanced by its remarkable condition.
