Ever since 1833, Jaeger-LeCoultre have been working and innovating in their founders original workshops. In 1844 it is alleged that he produced watch components so flawless that no measuring tool of his era could measure inaccuracies. He consequently invented his own tool to do so, the Millonometer. In 1929 the company again set the bar even higher, which was hard to do in during the great depression. However, the company invented the world's smallest watch movement that has still not been matched to this date. The more modern Master Control Eight Days Perpetual Collection is verification that the company has not stop innovating.
