The present model was made to commemorate Ferrari's championship in the 2002-2003 Grand American GT Series. Shortly after this watch was produced, Ferrari ended its association with Girard-Perregaux and began working with Panerai on a special line of watches under the car company's name. The present example is number 30 from a limited series of 50 pieces made.
