No other wristwatch has complications and features comparable to this one. Gérald Genta designed and produced the present wristwatch to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Gérald Genta company. It is part of a series launched in Basel in 1994 which greatly impressed the horological community. It comprises five series of four pieces each all featuring the same complications but displayed in a different manner and with different metals (18K yellow white pink gold or platinum). Each series is therefore unique as is each wristwatch. A similar watch with a 24-hour indication but without the retrograde feature for the Perpetual Calendars date indication was sold by Antiquorum in Hong Kong on June 9 2002 lot 415
