Housed in the distinctive Tortue case, the dial has its indexes and "chemin de fer" minute track following the lines of the case. The date is displayed at 12 o'clock with a small arrow underneath for a maximum of readability. At 6 o'clock, a slightly recessed fan-form aperture indicates the power reserve. The rest of the dial is beautifully guilloché and bears the rose to its center. This motif was likely inspired by some vintage Cartier clocks.
