Launched in 1921 the Tank Cintrée model was the immediate successor of the original Tank. The curved shape was derived from the firms tonneau series made to fit around a wrist the widened sides with the sharp edges and screwed lugs from the 1919 Tank. The elongated dial was visually enlarged and softened by the rounded chapter ring.
