Cartier
Regarded as the brand’s most iconic model, the Cartier Tank was
initially introduced in 1917. Named after the Renault FT-17, a French
tank from the First World War, the design and aesthetics of the
rectangular-shaped case clearly pays its tribute to it.
Still a
flagship model today, the Tank Française was initially released in 1996
under the leadership of the Richemont group. The present example is
certainly a bedazzling one, fully pavé diamond-set on the case and
bracelet with approximately 8 carats in total, making it an extravagant
lady’s wristwatch.
