Breguet originally designed Type XX watches for the French army in the 1950s. In 1995, Breguet reintroduced a flyback chronograph series for the general public, which was inspired by the watches they produced over 60 years ago for military use. The present watch, Type XX Transatlantique in platinum, is distinguished from the Breguet family due to the addition of the date on the dial.
