The Queen Elizabeth II Cup was first run at the Happy Valley Racecourse, Hong Kong in 1975 to commemorate a visit to Hong Kong by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Audemars Piguet has been sponsoring the Cup since 1999 and the race was re-titled Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup. The brand have created special editions to celebrate the sponsorship of the event and the present example pays homage to the QEII Cup in 2018. Complete with Warranty card and presentation box, the present watch is brand new and has never been worn before.
